Navy and Gold: Color Palette Love

If I had to choose one color that I love the most, it would have to be navy.  The elegant, luxuriousness of this color that can be dressed up or down in so many unique ways is one of my favorite things about this hue.  Add some gold into the mix and you have got yourself one heck of a palette.

I love that the ceiling is painted the same glorious navy color as the walls.  And the addition of the gold-toned curtains really gives this space some nice warmth.

I really like this Michael Kors watch -- perfect fashion statement for the ladies who love this color palette as much as I do!  ;-)

How beautiful is this navy- and gold-accented kitchen?  I love that the gold-tinged fixtures look a lot like vintage pieces, and that they're mixed with the modern and slightly utilitarian vibe of this kitchen.

A funky navy print bowl with a gold-toned rim -- the perfect accessory to any tablescape.

Navy plays a big part in this room, with just a few subtle gold accents.  Are you loving that rug as much as I am?

This dining area gets a splash of navy from the zigzag rug and the luscious curtains.  The gold is implemented with the curtain rod -- don't you love that?  Without that addition, the room would be so different!

In another dining room, this navy-accented space gets a touch of Hollywood glamour with that amazing gold chandelier.  The light fixture adds a trace of funky modern to the traditional feel of this space.

A stylish and bold vignette -- love the antique-inspired gold mirrors against that daring navy wall.  A white galloping horse statue lightens this vivid color palette.

What do you think of this color scheme?

love, maria
